Core Value Statements
Value Statement #1 Community
We are a community of imperfect people in need of Jesus’ redeeming love. We strive to demonstrate patience and understanding with each other as we live in community together. Collectively, we seek to understand the Word of God in how it instructs us to maturity in faith. We are committed to gathering together, encouraging one another on to love and good deeds. Our goal is that we grow into the men and women God desires us to become through the reliance of the Holy Spirit.

Value Statement #2 The Bible
We believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God through the work of the Holy Spirit. We believe God’s Word is reliable, that God’s Word can be completely trusted to accomplish all that it promises to do in matters of faith and Christian practice. We believe the Bible is useful for teaching and training us in righteousness, equipping the person for every good work the Lord calls us to do. We believe following the words of the scripture is the key to life and all its abundance!

Value Statement #3 Open Handed
We believe that everything we have in this life is from God and that we are to trust Him for all that we need. We believe God calls to be good stewards of His resources so that we can invest into building His kingdom. We believe that we are called to reflect the generosity of God towards others, that we have been blessed to be a blessing. We believe when our hands are empty, we are free to receive and to pass on to others. We believe that when we give to another, we draw close to the heart of God.

Value Statement #4 Worship
We believe worship points to what we value most. We value the redeeming sacrifice of Jesus Christ. We believe that when a person is changed by the love of Jesus, this leads to a life of praise. Our hope is that our worship points people to the transforming love of
Jesus.

Value Statement #5 Kingdom Minded
We are a Kingdom minded people, actively serving others, and spreading the love of Jesus. We are committed to developing healthy and positive relationships among our neighbors. We are constantly looking for ways to win the right to be heard, removing obstacles that might hinder a person from hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our aim is to please Jesus as we make Jesus known to the world.
